THE DOCK

“A primary goal of the DOCK program is to help kids overcome learning gaps while enhancing and enriching their lives. DOCK staff and volunteers emphasize academic achievement by encouraging students’ interest in education; involving their families when possible; and, modeling and promoting healthy life choices in order to help kids see themselves as current and emerging leaders who are valuable members of their community.”

During our two week program at the DOCK, we taught principles of software and hardware engineering to 30-40 children daily, applying them to FIRST TECH CHALLENGE robots in the second week. Children were able to drive robots, assemble hardware, and apply OnBotJava blocks and code.

FUNDRAISING

“We are an active force in the field of robotics and STEM education, empowering more than 3000 students and more than 200 mentors, from more than 20 cities in Libya. We bring “learning by doing” and “having fun” while supporting the teams to build a competition robot from scratch. We invest in kids who are ready to embrace the jobs of tomorrow and the fourth industrial revolution of THE DIGITAL ERA.”

-Lybotics

As a team, we’re raising funds for Lybotics LIBYA STEM Championship program for 6-12 year old schoolchildren throughout Libya.
